A celebration of love ft. jayde & gabrielle

Jayde and Gabrielle are about as sweet of a couple as you can get. Their big day had a few last minute changes, due to Cyclone Gabrielle, but this was all taken in their stride. New plans were made and the day forged ahead.

The ceremony began in Havelock North at St Lukes Anglican Church. Despite it being a swealtering day in the middle of summer the Church provided relief from the heat, as churches tend to do. A relatively non descript outside, I was met with a stunning sight inside. High ceilings, wooden floors, stained glass windows. The perfect background for a beautiful ceremony.

We then headed off to the rural Bay View for Bridal Photos, before heading to Crab Farm. The sweetest, supportive & fun bridal party made for a relaxed photo session. Jayde's AMAZING dress made for stunning photos, which we made sure to maximise!

The ceremony at Crab Farm was relaxed, fun, and full of every kind of emotion you could hope for at a wedding.

The afternoon spilled into the evening; speeches, cake cutting, and dancing.

Once it was time to put down the camera for the day, I headed straight to Ahuriri for a dip in the ocean. An different experience in the dark, but something all summer weddings should finish with, for a photographer! All in all, a memorable day I will never forget, as I sure neither the bride and groom will!
